Crime Map for Riga?

Latvia's Ministry of the Interior has suggested making a map of crime hot spots in Riga available for tourists and residents. Although similar maps are available in cities like New York and London, the Riga police are skeptical about the proposal. "I mean, why make a new map?" asked Riga Chief of Police Edgars Lazo. "The existing In-your-Pocket strip club map will do just fine. Replace the dots marked 'strip club' with the text 'tourist beating zone' and you're good to go." Lazo said he thought a "credit card fraud hot spots map" might be more appropriate for Riga and could possibly get funding from Visa and Mastercard. "Plus, New York and London don't have that yet."
